Kareena Kapoor Regrets Dropping Out Of School to pursue her acting career. The Bollywood actress recently opened up about leaving her education behind. She admitted that not completing her studies is something she still regrets.

Kareena made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with Refugee alongside Abhishek Bachchan. She was 19 when the film was shot. After entering the film industry, she decided to focus fully on acting.
In a recent conversation with podcaster Hanuman Dass, Kareena spoke honestly about her education. She said she never completed her education and did not study further after Class 11. She explained that she wanted to prove herself as an actor and chose to follow her heart.

Kareena Kapoor said education is one thing she regrets not completing. She also revealed that this experience influenced how she raises her children.
The actress said she encourages her sons to complete their education before following their dreams. Her own experience made her understand the importance of education.
Kareena has also supported girls’ education in India. She said she felt strongly about supporting young girls because she has always carried the regret of not completing her own studies.
Kareena Kapoor Educational Qualification
Before becoming a Bollywood actress, Kareena studied at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai. She later attended Welham Girls’ School in Dehradun.
She also reportedly studied commerce at Mumbai’s Mithibai College for a short period. However, she did not complete her degree.
Kareena also attended a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard Summer School. She had previously revealed that she once considered becoming a lawyer before choosing acting.
Kareena Kapoor Upcoming Film Daayra
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor is preparing for her next major release, Daayra. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Kareena alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
The movie explores crime and the judicial system. It is also inspired by several cases from across India.
Daayra marks Kareena and Prithviraj’s first on-screen collaboration. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18.
Kareena was last seen in Singham Again and Crew in 2024. With Daayra, fans are now looking forward to seeing her in a new role.
