UAE and Egyptian Presidents met in Abu Dhabi to discuss strong relations and important regional issues. UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi during his fraternal visit to the UAE. The meeting focused on cooperation, development goals, and regional security challenges.

The leaders talked about ways to improve economic and development cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. They discussed projects that support growth, stability, and prosperity for both nations. Both sides highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and creating more opportunities for their people.

UAE and Egyptian Presidents also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East. They discussed the impact of regional tensions on international peace and security. President El-Sisi repeated Egypt’s strong condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilians and civilian facilities in the UAE. He confirmed Egypt’s support for the UAE and its efforts to protect its sovereignty, people, and national security.

Senior UAE officials attended the meeting, including Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and other officials also joined the talks.

Earlier, the two presidents visited the Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed in the UAE. They reviewed military readiness and discussed efforts to improve operational capabilities. The visit reflected the close defence cooperation and trusted partnership between both countries.
