UAE sends five aid convoys carrying 1,056 tonnes of relief into Gaza

Five UAE humanitarian convoys delivered 1,056 tonnes of food, medical supplies and shelter materials into Gaza, reinforcing the country’s sustained relief efforts for Palestinian civilians.

SHARJAH, UAE: The United Arab Emirates has dispatched five humanitarian aid convoys into the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, delivering more than 1,000 tonnes of essential relief supplies to support Palestinians facing an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The convoys, which entered Gaza this week, carried 1,056 tonnes of humanitarian assistance aboard 74 trucks, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM). The shipments included food supplies, shelter materials and medical aid aimed at addressing urgent humanitarian needs across the territory.

The latest delivery forms part of the UAE’s continuing humanitarian response to alleviate the suffering of civilians affected by the conflict and deteriorating living conditions in Gaza.

Officials said the Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 team continues to coordinate relief efforts through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, where aid is prepared, sorted and dispatched under an integrated operational system designed to ensure the uninterrupted flow of assistance into Gaza.

The logistics hub plays a critical role in speeding up the movement of humanitarian supplies and ensuring aid reaches beneficiaries as efficiently as possible.

The UAE has maintained regular humanitarian convoys under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reflecting its long-standing commitment to supporting the Palestinian people during times of crisis. The initiative includes the continuous delivery of food, medical supplies and emergency shelter assistance to help ease the humanitarian situation on the ground.

The latest convoys come as international humanitarian agencies continue to warn of severe shortages of food, healthcare and basic necessities in Gaza, underscoring the importance of sustained international relief efforts.

The UAE has repeatedly reaffirmed that its humanitarian assistance is guided by its longstanding commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and providing rapid relief to those in need, regardless of circumstances.
