UAE President Meets Expo Pavilion team after their successful participation in Expo 2025 Osaka and recognition at the iF Design Award 2026. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the team behind the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed spoke with the delegation about their experiences and the valuable lessons they gained from the international exhibition. He also praised everyone who helped make the UAE’s participation successful.
The UAE President highlighted the pavilion team’s role in presenting the country’s inspiring success story to an international audience. He also praised their efforts to create connections and build ambitious partnerships that support the UAE’s future goals.
The UAE President Meets Expo Pavilion team was also congratulated for the UAE Pavilion’s Gold Award at the iF Design Award 2026. The pavilion won the award in the Interior Architecture – Trade Fairs/Temporary Exhibitions category.
Sheikh Mohamed wished the team continued success and excellence. The recognition highlights the pavilion’s strong architectural and creative design.
Designed under the supervision of Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Pavilion connected the country’s heritage with future ambitions.
Inspired by the date palm and built around the theme “Earth to Ether,” the pavilion presented a modern interpretation of the traditional arish palm-frond house. Its design combined traditional Emirati architecture, cultural heritage, scientific discovery and innovation.
The delegation expressed pride in representing the UAE at Expo 2025 Osaka. They said the pavilion helped showcase the country’s values, heritage and ambitions to become a global hub for creativity and innovation.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE leaders, officials, citizens and guests.
