SSEF Honours Orphan Graduates: Inside Sharjah’s Celebration of Academic Excellence

SSEF Honours Orphan Graduates

SSEF honours orphan graduates from universities and high schools for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) celebrated their academic success during a special ceremony held at the Foundation’s headquarters.

About 164 male and female students graduated from high schools and universities during the academic year. The event recognised their hard work and marked an important step in their educational journey.

The ceremony was organised under the Foundation’s “Allama Bilqalam” educational project. Partners, supporters and parents attended the event to celebrate the students’ achievements.

Professor Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, said celebrating outstanding students is an important tradition for the Foundation. She highlighted the importance of supporting students, building their confidence and encouraging them to achieve their future goals.

She said the celebration was not only about academic results. It was also a way to recognise the students’ hard work and encourage them to continue pursuing their ambitions.

The Allama Bilqalam project provides a range of educational services for orphaned students. It aims to create a supportive learning environment and help students continue their education until graduation.

The Versace Hotel Dubai, the official sponsor of the ceremony, also honoured the top four high school graduates. Each received a three-night hotel stay, along with special experiences for the student and their family.
The Foundation also recognised the hotel for its support and sponsorship.

SSEF honours orphan graduates as part of its continued efforts to empower orphaned students through education. The initiative aims to help young people build a successful future and contribute positively to their communities.
