Sharjah ruler approves 400 new jobs for citizens

The Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, on Sunday gave approval for the appointment of 400 citizens to fill new jobs at a number of Sharjah government departments from September.

The initiative will offer job opportunities to those who are registered through the Human Resources Department in Sharjah. Appropriate job seekers will get in touch to finalize the requirements and will be nominated accordingly as to their specialties.

This forms part of continued efforts by the government of Sharjah to improve employment as well as support the citizens in getting employment based on qualifications and experience. The openings will work towards building the local workforce and support in the development of the public sector in the Emirate.

On the other hand, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree about the appointment of officers at the Sharjah Academy of Police Science.

The Decree stated that (3) officers holding their current military ranks and presently on the staff of the Ministry of Interior shall be transferred to the Sharjah Academy of Police Science, with effect from 1 June 2024.
