Sharjah Dubai Traffic Delays are causing long queues on major UAE roads during Tuesday morning’s rush hour. Motorists travelling from Sharjah to Dubai are facing slow-moving traffic on key routes, including Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Ittihad Street (E11). Drivers have been advised to allow extra travel time and remain patient as congestion continues across several busy areas.
The heaviest traffic is reported on Al Ittihad Street (E11) near the Sharjah-Dubai border. Vehicles are moving slowly around Al Nahda, Sahara Centre and Al Mamzar. Traffic is also building near Abu Hail, Century Mall and Deira, making the morning commute longer than usual.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) is also experiencing heavy congestion. Delays are reported around Muwaileh Commercial and Sharjah Industrial Area 15, especially near the City Centre Al Zahia interchange. Long lines of vehicles can be seen as commuters head towards Dubai during peak morning hours.
Several industrial areas in Sharjah are also affected. Slow traffic is reported between Sharjah Industrial Areas 13 and 17. Congestion is also visible in Industrial Areas 11 and 15, Hay Al Qasimiah and along Sharjah Ring Road (S102). These routes are important links for people travelling between Sharjah and Dubai every day.
On the Dubai side, traffic remains heavy around Al Qusais and Al Nahda. Drivers are experiencing delays on Baghdad Street, Beirut Street (D62), D97 and Al Twar 1. Congestion is also reported in Al Qusais Industrial Areas, where traffic is moving slowly during the busy morning period.
Roads connecting Dubai and Sharjah are also under pressure. Damascus Street, Halab Street and nearby connecting roads are seeing long queues of vehicles. These roads are commonly used by commuters, adding to the overall traffic load during rush hour.
Inside Sharjah, traffic is moving slowly on Al Sewak Street in Sharjah Industrial Area 8 and 6th Street in Industrial Area 7. Sharjah Ring Road (S102) between Industrial Areas 11 and 15 is also heavily congested. Many drivers are spending extra time on the road as traffic builds across the city.
Dubai motorists heading towards Deira and airport areas are also facing delays. Slow-moving traffic has been reported around Al Murar, Hor Al Anz East, D97 corridors, Al Twar and roads near the airport perimeter. Delays are also affecting D64 near Al Nasiriya Building, Al Qusais Industrial Area First and D56 in Muhaisnah.
Authorities have also confirmed that minor accidents on some roads have added to the congestion. Although these incidents are not major, they have slowed traffic further during one of the busiest travel periods of the day. Drivers are advised to keep a safe distance from other vehicles and drive carefully.
Dubai Police have also shared an important road safety reminder as temperatures remain high across the UAE. They advised motorists to stop in a safe place if their vehicle overheats and allow the engine to cool before continuing the journey. Continuing to drive an overheating vehicle can cause serious engine damage.
