How Katrina Kaif Faced Criticism

Bosco and Caesar recently spoke about their choreography journey on a podcast. During the conversation, they discussed Katrina Kaif and her memorable dance performances.

Bosco recalled that Katrina once faced harsh criticism from a choreographer. He said she was told, “aap zero ho dance mein,” meaning she was considered very weak at dancing and should quit.

The comment reportedly affected Katrina deeply. Bosco suggested that the experience may have given her extra motivation to improve herself.

Katrina Kaif was told she could not dance, but she did not give up. She continued working hard and eventually became known for several popular Bollywood dance numbers.

Farah Khan Recalls Sheila Ki Jawaani

Farah Khan also spoke about Katrina’s early dancing journey. She said that Katrina was not known as a dancer when Farah first worked with her.

Farah recalled choreographing Katrina for Just Chill from Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. She also mentioned that Katrina had earlier appeared in Touch Me, but had not yet gained a strong reputation as a dancer.

According to Farah, Sheila Ki Jawaani became a major turning point. She said Katrina may have been a four or five earlier, but after Sheila Ki Jawaani, she became a nine or ten.Bosco agreed that Sheila Ki Jawaani was a game changer for Katrina.

Katrina’s Popular Dance Numbers

Katrina later impressed audiences with several high-energy songs. These included Sheila Ki Jawaani from Tees Maar Khan and Chikni Chameli from Agneepath.

She also performed in Kamli from Dhoom 3. Her other popular dance numbers include Kala Chashma, Swag Se Swagat, Afghan Jalebi and Nachde Ne Saare.

Katrina Kaif was told she could not dance, but her later performances showed a major transformation. Her journey became an example of how consistent practice can change a performer’s skills.

Katrina Kaif’s Recent Break

Katrina has been away from the big screen for the last two years. She is currently enjoying her motherhood journey.

She welcomed her son, Vihaan Kaushal, on November 7, 2025. Her last film was Merry Christmas, released in 2024 alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
