Jackky Body Shaming Journey

Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani recently shared his emotional Jackky body shaming journey during an appearance on the chat show Double Date with wife Rakul Preet Singh. He spoke honestly about the painful comments he faced while growing up overweight.

Jackky revealed that he weighed nearly 150 kilos as a child. He recalled how people often made jokes about his weight without understanding the emotional effect. He shared one incident where a man compared him to famous WWF wrestler Yokozuna during a conversation with his father. Though he laughed at that moment, the actor admitted that such comments stayed with him for years.

Talking about bullying in society, Jackky said people often make fun of overweight or dark-skinned individuals casually. He explained that such remarks can deeply hurt a young person’s confidence. His honest words connected with many viewers online.

The actor also revealed an important turning point in his life. When he told his father, producer Vashu Bhagnani, that he wanted to become an actor, his father told him he needed to become healthier first. Jackky said the statement hurt him at that time, but later he understood it was meant to motivate him.

His Jackky body shaming journey later became a story of determination and self-discipline. Through intense fitness training and lifestyle changes, he transformed both physically and mentally before entering Bollywood.
