Smriti Mandhana becomes highest run-getter in women’s international cricket after surpassing legendary Indian batter Mithali Raj. The 30-year-old reached the milestone during India’s Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Group A match against Hong Kong at the Dubai International Stadium.

Mandhana crossed Mithali Raj’s tally of 10,868 international runs. She reached the record in her 303rd international innings. With this achievement, Mandhana moved to the top of the all-time list for runs in women’s international cricket.
Mandhana now has 10,880 international runs. New Zealand’s Suzie Bates follows with 10,740 runs. Mithali Raj is third with 10,868 runs.
Mandhana Hits Record-Breaking 124
The historic achievement came during a stunning batting performance. Mandhana scored 124 runs from just 64 deliveries. Her powerful innings helped India post 193/5 against Hong Kong.
Her 124 also became the highest individual score in Women’s Asia Cup history. She went past Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu, who had scored an unbeaten 119 against Malaysia in 2024.
The knock also produced another major record. Mandhana reached her 18th international century. She is now the leading century-maker in women’s international cricket.
Most International Centuries
Smriti Mandhana becomes highest run-getter while also extending her lead for international centuries. She has 18 centuries, while Meg Lanning and Laura Wolvaardt have 17 each.
Mandhana also recorded her 93rd 50-plus score in women’s international cricket. That puts her level with Mithali Raj for the most 50-plus scores in the format.
Her 37th 50-plus score in women’s T20 internationals is also a record. Australia’s Beth Mooney follows with 33.

Mandhana has continued to build a remarkable international career. She became the fastest woman to reach 10,000 international runs, achieving the milestone in 280 innings.
She is also the first Indian woman to score centuries in all three international formats. Her latest performance against Hong Kong added several more records to her growing list.
