SharjahMedia: Sharjah Young Entrepreneurs are gaining greater visibility through “I Have a Project,” a documentary-style programme produced by Sharjah24, part of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. The programme highlights the stories and achievements of young business owners across the emirate.
The current season includes 15 episodes, with each episode running for about five minutes. The programme features businesses from different sectors, including hospitality, restaurants, cafés, fashion, beauty, technology, design, studios and creative industries.
“I Have a Project” follows entrepreneurs during their daily work. It explores how they developed their business ideas and the challenges they faced along the way. It also looks at their plans and ambitions for future growth.
The programme places the personal stories of business owners at the centre of each episode. This approach gives viewers a closer look at the people behind Sharjah’s local businesses and their entrepreneurial journeys.
Produced, written and directed by Mohammed Hassan Al Yassi, the programme uses a fast-paced visual style. It takes inspiration from digital platforms and combines field reporting with short and focused storytelling.
The programme was originally developed in 2019 and first broadcast in 2020. It helped promote local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, it has continued to attract strong audience interest.
Sharjah Young Entrepreneurs receive an important media platform through the programme. It aims to showcase their experiences, encourage others to explore entrepreneurship and increase the visibility of innovative local businesses across Sharjah.
