Ajman Arabian Horse Championship opened on Friday evening in Ajman. The event marked the launch of the 23rd edition of the famous show. H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi attended the opening ceremony. The championship was held in the Al Jurf 2 area. It took place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman.
The championship is organised under the supervision of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society. It features 302 purebred Arabian horses. These horses come from top owners and leading stables across the UAE. The competitions will continue until next Sunday. The event reflects strong support for equestrian sport in Ajman.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said the Ajman Arabian Horse Championship celebrates the beauty of the Arabian horse. He noted its deep link to UAE heritage. He added that the event shows pride in national identity. It also highlights the bond between people, land, and history.
He thanked the UAE’s wise leadership for supporting equestrian sports. He praised President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He expressed appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support.
The Ajman Arabian Horse Championship also includes a heritage market. The market attracts families and visitors. It offers traditional crafts and handmade products. Visitors enjoy live folkloric shows and artistic performances. Cafés and hospitality corners add comfort. Souvenir gifts are given to guests.
