UAE weather forecast: NCM predicts intermittent clouds, rain

The UAE residents can anticipate a decent day on Friday, August 23, with intermittent clouds and a possibility of rain in the eastern regions in the afternoon, as per the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Based on a previous prediction from the meteorological department, certain areas in the UAE may experience periods of rain until today, accompanied by ongoing windy and dusty weather throughout most areas of the nation.

The meteorological department also pointed out that convective clouds will develop over the eastern regions later in the day.

Temperatures will slowly increase today, with the mercury climbing to 46°C in Mezaira and Razeen. At the same time, temperatures can drop to 22°C in the mountains.

Light to moderate winds, occasionally increasing in strength, are forecasted to bring dust to the country. Wind speeds can reach 40kmph, blowing from the southeast to the northwest.

There will be calm seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
