UAE weather update: NCM forecasts cloudy weather and rainfall

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast for the period from Monday to Thursday, predicting a chance of low clouds and the possibility of cumulus clouds accompanied by rainfall, with temperatures expected to drop.

Monday

On Monday, the weather is anticipated to be fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds are expected to appear over the east coast in the morning, with a probability of convective cloud formation eastward by the afternoon, which might bring rainfall.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will prevail, freshening at times during the daytime, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Tuesday

Tuesday’s weather is expected to follow a similar pattern, being fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds will appear over the east coast, with a probability of convective cloud formation over the mountains by the afternoon.

Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from southeasterly to northwesterly, and freshening at times during the day, stirring dust with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the weather will continue to be fair to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds over the east coast. Coastal areas will experience a decrease in temperatures. It will be humid by night and on Thursday morning over some coastal regions.

Winds will be light to moderate, from southeasterly to northwesterly, freshening at times and stirring dust with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Thursday

The forecast for Thursday indicates fair to partly cloudy weather, with low clouds over the east coast and a probability of convective cloud formation over the mountains.

Winds will be light to moderate, from southeasterly to northwesterly, freshening at times during the day, stirring dust with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
