UAE weather high humidity is expected to continue this weekend, with temperatures reaching up to 48°C in some parts of the country. Dubai and Sharjah are forecast to reach 43°C, while humidity could rise to 90% in coastal areas.

Hot And Humid Weekend Ahead
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects fair to partly cloudy conditions across the UAE today. Some convective clouds may develop over eastern areas during the afternoon.
Fujairah could also see scattered rainfall. However, most areas will remain hot, with temperatures rising into the mid-40s and high-40s.
Relative humidity is expected to range from 70% to 90% tonight. It will remain high throughout the weekend, particularly on Sunday morning in some coastal areas.
Fog And Mist May Reduce Visibility
The combination of high humidity and cooler overnight conditions may lead to fog and mist in some areas. Drivers are advised to take extra care during the early morning hours.
Visibility could drop sharply in affected locations. Motorists should reduce speed and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
Dubai And Sharjah Temperatures
Dubai and Sharjah will both record maximum temperatures of 43°C today. Abu Dhabi will be hotter at 46°C, while Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah could reach 45°C.
Liwa is expected to record the highest temperature in the country at 48°C. Ajman will reach 42°C, while Umm Al Quwain will see a high of 40°C.
Fujairah will be comparatively cooler at 37°C. Minimum temperatures will range from 25°C in Umm Al Quwain to 33°C in Al Ain.
Winds Could Stir Up Dust
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected across the UAE. Speeds will generally range between 10 and 25km/h.
Winds may become stronger at times, reaching 35km/h along the coast and 40km/h inland. These conditions could stir up dust in open and exposed areas.
Residents should take precautions when visibility is affected by dust, fog or mist.
Sea Conditions Remain Calm
Despite the hot conditions, sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Waves could reach around two feet near the shore and three feet offshore. The NCM expects the heat to remain until early next week.
