UAE unstable weather continues across several parts of the country, with rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and dust expected through Tuesday. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned residents about changing weather conditions, especially in eastern, southern and inland areas.
On Saturday, skies will remain fair to partly cloudy but may become dusty at times. Convective clouds are expected to form during the afternoon, bringing rain of different intensities. Strong winds may reach 50kph when clouds develop. These winds could raise dust and reduce visibility on some roads.
Temperatures will remain very high across the UAE. Inland areas could reach 49°C, while Abu Dhabi and Al Ain may record 46°C. Dubai and Sharjah are expected to reach 45°C. Ras Al Khaimah could see 46°C, while Liwa may reach 48°C. Fujairah will be cooler at around 39°C.
Humidity could rise to 85 per cent in some coastal and island areas. Seas are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The UAE unstable weather continues on Sunday, with more convective clouds, rainfall and gusty winds expected across eastern, southern and inland areas. On Monday, afternoon showers may again develop over eastern and southern regions, while winds could reach 40kph.
By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to gradually ease, particularly along coastal areas. However, partly cloudy skies and isolated showers may continue. Another chance of afternoon rain is also expected in eastern areas on Wednesday as the unsettled weather pattern slowly weakens.
