Years later, he returned with a dream and only Dh40 left in his pocket after a long 38-hour bus trip from Jordan to Abu Dhabi.
After arriving in the UAE in 2002, he searched for work for two months. Despite many rejections, he never gave up. His breakthrough came when he joined Al Ansari Exchange as a cashier with a monthly salary of Dh2,300. At that time, the company had only nine branches.
The Ali Al Najjar journey was not easy. He lived in a small room and slept on a mattress on the floor. However, he remained focused on learning and improving. He worked in different branches across the UAE and gained experience in customer service, operations, and management.
His dedication and strong work ethic helped him earn several promotions. He became Branch Manager, Area Manager, Head of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and finally CEO of Al Ansari Exchange in 2025. Today, he leads around 4,200 employees and 287 branches across the UAE.
