Along with this, the UAE announced major updates on transport, infrastructure, education, and real estate.
Dubai Holding Real Estate launched the Dubai Golden Visa service at Meraas and Nakheel sales centres. The service helps eligible buyers complete residency guidance during the property buying process. Applications are handled by an accredited visa provider, while the developer offers support with documents and eligibility.
Dubai also approved an AED18 billion road plan. The project includes a new 15-kilometre elevated road running alongside Sheikh Zayed Road. It aims to reduce travel times by 51 percent and improve traffic flow for millions of residents.
Passengers are also benefiting from passport-free airport travel. Airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expanding biometric and AI-powered systems to make check-in, security, and boarding faster and more convenient.
Etihad Rail successfully launched its first passenger service between Fujairah and Abu Dhabi. Travelers praised the comfortable journey and called it a proud moment for the UAE.
Other important updates included the confirmation of UAE school holidays until 2029, the continued progress of Jeddah Tower toward its 2028 target, and the announcement that the MGM Dubai Resort is expected to open in the third quarter of 2028.
The UAE property market is also becoming more balanced as buyers adjust their expectations. Meanwhile, Carrefour introduced its first premium supermarket concept with a larger fresh food selection and a new neighborhood café, reflecting changing shopping habits across the UAE.
