Temperatures Remain High Across UAE
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are expected to reach 43°C today. Al Ain will see a maximum of 42°C, while Liwa could reach 45°C.
Ajman will record a high of 40°C. Umm Al Quwain will reach 41°C. Fujairah will be cooler at 36°C.
Minimum temperatures will also vary across the Emirates. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to record 33°C. Sharjah will fall to 31°C, while Ras Al Khaimah could drop to 29°C.
Humidity Expected To Ease
Humidity has remained high in recent days, leading to fog and mist in some coastal and internal areas. However, the NCM expects humidity to gradually decrease from today through Wednesday.
Relative humidity could reach 85% in coastal areas this evening. In internal areas, it may reach 70%. This is lower than the previous level of 90%.
The gradual reduction in humidity could bring slightly more comfortable conditions, especially during the evening. However, temperatures will remain high across most parts of the UAE.
Light Winds Across Coastal Areas
Winds will be light to moderate today and may become fresh at times. Coastal areas could see winds reaching speeds of up to 30km/h.
Residents and visitors should remain prepared for hot conditions, particularly during the afternoon. The combination of high temperatures and humidity may still make outdoor activities uncomfortable.
Calm Seas For Evening Beach Visits
Sea conditions are expected to remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Waves are forecast to reach around two feet onshore and up to three feet offshore. These conditions could make the evening suitable for beach visits, although visitors should still take care in the heat.
UAE Weather Outlook
The UAE will continue to experience high temperatures today, with several cities reaching 43°C. At the same time, humidity drops to 85% in coastal areas, offering some relief from recent muggy conditions.
The NCM expects the gradual reduction in humidity to continue through Wednesday, while partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds remain possible.
