Emirates has introduced a new travel offer for students, providing discounted airfares, additional baggage allowance and greater booking flexibility for eligible travellers. The promotion is available to students aged 16 to 31 and applies to flights booked on or before March 31, 2027 using the promotional code STUDENT.
The initiative is designed to support students travelling abroad for education, holidays or visits to family and friends across Emirates’ global network of more than 140 destinations.

Discounts Across Multiple Cabin Classes
Under the offer, students travelling in Economy Class can receive discounts of up to 10% on eligible fares. Those booking Premium Economy or Business Class tickets can save up to 5%, depending on fare conditions.
The airline said the promotion aims to make international travel more affordable while encouraging students to explore new destinations or continue their studies overseas.
Additional Baggage for Student Travellers
Along with discounted fares, eligible passengers will receive an extra 10kg of checked baggage or one additional baggage piece, depending on the baggage policy for their route.
However, Emirates clarified that standard baggage rules will continue to apply for flights travelling to or from Canada and the United States, where different baggage regulations are already in place.
Flexible Booking Options
Students using the offer will also benefit from greater flexibility when changing travel plans. Emirates has included options to amend bookings if schedules change, although the airline has not disclosed the full terms and conditions for flight modifications.
The added flexibility is expected to benefit students whose academic calendars or travel arrangements may change unexpectedly.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the promotion, passengers must be members of the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme.
Students will also need to present a valid student identification card or an official school or university acceptance letter during check-in to verify their eligibility.
Parents or guardians can register students aged 16 and 17 for the Skywards programme, while travellers aged 18 and above can create their own membership accounts.
Extra Benefits Through Skywards
In addition to discounted travel, Emirates Skywards members can earn Skywards Miles on eligible flights. These miles can later be redeemed for flight tickets, cabin upgrades, travel experiences and duty-free purchases.
Student members will also enjoy complimentary onboard Wi-Fi services, including unlimited messaging through supported chat applications during their flights.
Offer Valid Until March 2027
Students wishing to take advantage of the promotion must complete their bookings by March 31, 2027, and enter the promotional code STUDENT when making their reservation.
