Air Arabia Launches Direct Sharjah–Rome Flights With Five Weekly Services: What Does This Mean for Travelers?

Air Arabia launches

Air Arabia launches a new direct service between Sharjah International Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport. The new route will operate five times a week. It is the airline’s second destination in Italy after Milan. The service gives travelers more options to fly between the UAE and Italy. It also supports stronger travel and tourism links between the two countries.

The new route is part of Air Arabia’s plan to expand its medium-haul network. The airline is focusing on flights that take up to seven hours. Air Arabia launches this service as part of its wider strategy to grow across Europe and the Far East while keeping operations efficient and reliable.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the new Rome route reflects the airline’s long-term expansion plans. He explained that the company is working to increase its network and improve travel choices for passengers.

The airline is also preparing to receive new aircraft in the coming months. These aircraft will help Air Arabia expand more services from Sharjah International Airport. Al Ali said the airline is working closely with the Sharjah Airport Authority to support future growth. He also thanked the authority for its continued support and confidence in the airline’s long-term vision.

The new Sharjah–Rome service is expected to strengthen Air Arabia’s presence in Europe. It also offers passengers a convenient and affordable way to travel between Sharjah and the Italian capital.
