Bengaluru Businessman Found Dead in Actress Krishi Thapanda’s Flat as Police Investigate Mysterious Death Case

Bengaluru businessman found dead

Bengaluru businessman found dead after he was found hanging in the apartment of Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda in Bengaluru. Police said the 45-year-old businessman, Vaishak Upadhyay, had been staying at the flat for about a week with the actress’s knowledge while she was away. No suicide note was found. Police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and are investigating the case.

According to police, Vaishak was facing personal and family problems. Reports said he had been living separately from his wife for nearly a month because of marital disputes. Investigators believe he had also been battling depression in recent weeks.

Before the incident, Vaishak reportedly sent emotional messages to actress Krishi Thapanda. He told her he was deeply distressed and wanted to end his life. The actress tried to comfort him through calls and messages. She even suggested that they visit the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple together, and he reportedly agreed.

Thapanda also informed Vaishak’s family after receiving the messages. When she returned to her apartment later that night, she found him dead and immediately alerted the police. Officers have recorded her statement and collected the messages as part of the investigation.

Bengaluru businessman found dead has drawn public attention because Vaishak was earlier linked to a high-profile extortion and threat-letter case. He had been arrested in February but was later released, and the Karnataka High Court stayed further investigation against him.

Police said Vaishak’s family has not alleged any foul play. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Investigators are continuing to examine all the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident involving the Kannada actress and the businessman.
