President of the UAE Begins Official Working Visit to India

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in New Delhi, India, to begin a working visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing strategic ties between the two nations.

The UAE President was welcomed at Palam Air Base by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior government officials, underscoring the importance both countries place on deepening relations.

This visit marks His Highness’s third official visit to India since assuming the UAE presidency and his fifth visit overall to New Delhi in the past decade, reflecting the long-standing and expanding partnership between the UAE and India.

During his time in India, President Sheikh Mohamed is expected to hold high-level talks focused on economic cooperation, trade, energy, technology and regional issues of mutual interest. Leaders from both countries have emphasised the strength of the India–UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and their shared commitment to further deepen cooperation.

The working visit also builds on recent high-level exchanges, including visits by senior UAE officials in 2024 and 2025, and agreements that have seen bilateral trade and investment grow rapidly in recent years.

Details of bilateral meetings and initiatives underway during the visit are expected to be announced as discussions progress.
