If you plan to drive, arrive by 4pm on December 31. Key roads like Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Burj Khalifa Street, and Lower Financial Centre Road will close from the afternoon. Sheikh Zayed Road will partially close from 11pm and fully close until 2am on January 2, 2026.
Dubai Metro is the best option. Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station will close from 5pm or earlier if crowded. Use nearby stations such as Business Bay, Financial Centre, Emirates Towers, or World Trade Centre. Metro services will run non-stop for 43 hours. Make sure your nol card has enough balance.
If Downtown feels too crowded, the fireworks are still visible from Dubai Canal Waterfall, Dubai Creek Harbour, Lulu Bridge near Dubai Frame, and Al Safa Water Canal Bridge.
