The Sultan Ahmed Bridge Summit visit showed the strong role Sharjah plays in the region’s media future. His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, toured the “Bridge 2025” Summit at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. The event gathers global leaders in media, technology, content creation, and entertainment.
His Highness reviewed Sharjah Media City’s (Shams) participation at the summit. Shams presented its new flagship project, Madar Media, a platform designed to support creative talent and strengthen the media economy. Madar Media focuses on merging creativity with technology to help creators produce strong and sustainable content. It offers services such as training programmes, production support, digital creativity, podcast development, and advanced studio facilities. The Sultan Ahmed Bridge Summit visit also highlighted the launch of “Madar AI,” which provides smart tools for visual and audio content creation.
His Highness later explored the UAE Media Council’s platform, where he learned about national media regulations, new partnerships, and the country’s progress in professional and digital media fields. He also watched a film on the history of UAE media, showing its journey from modest beginnings to a modern, global industry.
The visit continued at the “China Joy” pavilion, featuring major companies from Asia’s gaming sector. His Highness observed interactive gaming experiences and learned about new opportunities in digital entertainment and creative technology.
The “Bridge 2025” Summit includes more than 300 activities and attracts participants from over 130 countries. It serves as a global meeting point for creators, investors, and institutions working to advance media, innovation, and the creative economy.
