ABU DHABI — The BRIDGE Summit 2025, the region’s largest gathering for media, content, and creative industries, officially opened Monday at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, drawing an unprecedented 60,000-plus participants from around the world. Running from December 8 to 10, the summit brings together leading voices from the fields of film, television, digital media, gaming, design, publishing, entrepreneurship, and investment.
Organizers say the event aims to strengthen global creative ecosystems, accelerate partnerships, and support the UAE’s fast-growing creative economy. With more than 400 international speakers and 300 exhibitors, the summit features one of the most diverse lineups assembled in the region, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s continued rise as a global hub for content creation and innovation.
The programme includes over 300 activities, ranging from 200 panel discussions to 50 interactive workshops, designed to engage creators, students, industry leaders, and decision-makers. Dedicated spaces for deal-making, investment matchmaking, and strategic collaborations are expected to facilitate major partnerships across media, technology and entertainment sectors.
Emerging creative fields — including gaming, augmented reality, virtual reality, design, architecture and cultural craftsmanship — hold a prominent place this year, highlighting the rapid expansion of the UAE’s digital and immersive content landscape. Universities, innovation labs, and research centres from the region and abroad are also showcasing new creative technologies and academic insights.
The opening day witnessed broad participation from filmmakers, producers, digital creators, social media personalities, media executives and cultural leaders. Discussions touched on global storytelling trends, the future of independent creators, content monetisation, AI-powered production tools, and the evolving relationship between technology and creative expression.
The BRIDGE Summit 2025 is positioned as a key platform for shaping the future of the Middle East’s creative economy and strengthening the UAE’s role in international media development. The event continues at ADNEC until December 10.
