Sharjah Health Raises Awareness: Fatima Al Qasimi Highlights Initiative at SIBF 2025

Sharjah Health raises awareness

Sharjah Health raises awareness through its first-ever participation at the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2025, drawing strong attention from visitors. Sheikha Fatima Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Health Authority pavilion, shared her happiness with the positive response and high engagement.

She said the Authority presented five key publications at SIBF 2025. One of the most important was the book My Mother, which supports breastfeeding awareness and promotes a strong, healthy bond between mother and child. This effort reflects the Emirate’s long-term commitment to public health and its goal of helping families make informed health choices.

Fatima Al Qasimi explained that the initiative follows the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. His guidance encourages building a healthy community where people understand the value of preventive care. Through this participation, the Authority worked to spread clear and simple health messages that benefit all age groups.

The pavilion also aimed to strengthen a culture of public health. Visitors had the chance to learn about wellness practices, healthy habits, and early health education. These efforts support Sharjah’s mission to create a society that values knowledge and health awareness.

Sharjah Health raises awareness not only through books but also by engaging directly with families, students, and health-conscious visitors. The strong turnout at SIBF 2025 shows that people are eager to learn more about healthy living. This successful experience encourages the Authority to continue taking part in major cultural events.
