Hardy Singh, a Dubai-based artist, has become an international name in the world of bhangra through his energetic performances and viral workshops. His journey began in Dubai, but his passion soon turned into a mission to share bhangra globally.
At Japan Expo, Hardy’s performance drew huge applause from audiences who didn’t speak Punjabi but felt the rhythm instantly. His Dubai-born dancer bhangra journey also took him to Colombia, Paris, and several other countries where his workshops sold out within hours. He says that breaking cultural barriers through dance is one of the most rewarding parts of his career.
Hardy’s story is inspiring. He studied business and finance but followed his heart into dance. Starting from small performances in Dubai, he built a global brand over more than a decade. During the pandemic, he kept the art alive by creating bhangra-themed Instagram stickers that gained over a billion views.
He believes that bhangra is a universal language that brings people together, no matter where they come from. His teaching method focuses on joy, positivity, and celebrating every dancer’s effort.
So far, Hardy has performed in 57 countries and dreams of completing his tour by dancing in Antarctica — becoming the first bhangra dancer to perform on every continent.
