PublisHer women empowerment initiative continues to inspire women leaders in the publishing world. At the Sharjah Publishers Conference 2025, Bodour Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah, highlighted the power of women who share knowledge, ideas, and ambitions.
During the three-day event, the PublisHer Lounge will host discussions on leadership, sustainability, and innovation. These sessions aim to bring together global voices and create a shared vision for the future of publishing.
This year, the PublisHer women empowerment initiative reached a major milestone with a new partnership between PublisHer, BEEAH Group, and EVOTEQ. EVOTEQ, a digital subsidiary of BEEAH, will develop a next-generation digital platform for PublisHer’s global community. The platform will support learning, mentorship, and international collaboration among women in publishing.
Bodour Al Qasimi emphasized that this partnership reflects the importance of “technology with purpose.” It will help PublisHer expand its reach and impact by connecting more women and enabling them to grow together.
She expressed her gratitude to all partners — BEEAH Group, EVOTEQ, Q7, Air Arabia, and the Sharjah Book Authority — for their belief in innovation, inclusion, and community strength.
