Al Qasimi Palace Sale: UAE’s Haunted Mansion Listed for AED 25 Million

Al Qasimi Palace Sale

The Al Qasimi Palace Sale has caught public attention as one of the UAE’s most mysterious and talked-about real estate listings. The famous haunted mansion in Ras Al Khaimah has been put on sale for AED 25 million, with the condition that only Emirati citizens can buy it.

Built in 1985 by the late Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Qasimi. This luxurious four-storey palace covers 20,000 square metres in the Al Dhait area. It has 35 rooms, featuring a blend of Islamic, Moroccan, Persian, and Indian designs. The interior boasts Belgian and French chandeliers, Thassos marble flooring. And a glass pyramid that brings sunlight into the central hall.

Despite its stunning design, the palace was never lived in. The Sheikh’s family objected to statues and artwork showing people and animals, leaving the property empty for years. Over time, ghost stories grew around the palace, with locals reporting strange lights and eerie sounds.

Current owner Tareq Ahmad Al Sharhan confirmed that the sale is open for Emiratis only, calling it a valuable cultural and historical landmark. He renamed it Al Qasr Al Ghamedh, meaning “The Palace of Ambiguity.” And reopened it for visitors daily from 9 am to 7 pm.

The Al Qasimi Palace Sale has revived interest in Ras Al Khaimah’s haunted history. Many tourists visit to explore the building’s craftsmanship and experience the legends surrounding it.
