Miss Universe UAE 2025 has crowned 26-year-old Mariam Mohamed as its winner. The Emirati fashion student will be the first Emirati woman to represent the UAE on the Miss Universe stage next month in Thailand.
Mariam Mohamed said she wants to be “a voice for women” and hopes to inspire others to dream big. “The UAE has given me the confidence to dream without limits,” she said. For her, Miss Universe UAE 2025 is not only about beauty but about leadership, confidence, and impact.
With a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sydney and fashion design studies at ESMOD Dubai, Mariam combines creativity and intellect. She is passionate about women’s empowerment, sustainability, and social change. She has supported charitable causes such as Ramadan Aman and The Giving Family Initiative.
Her lifestyle reflects both Emirati traditions and modern values — from falconry and camel riding to sustainable fashion and cultural exchange. Mariam represents the UAE’s heritage and innovation on a global level.
Poppy Capella, National Director of Miss Universe UAE, said Mariam stood out for her eloquence, vision, and strong sense of identity. “She embodies the UAE’s values of empowerment, heritage, and leadership,” she said.
The competition saw more than 950 applicants nationwide. The Miss Universe UAE 2025 event celebrates Emirati women who are confident, compassionate, and ready to make a difference worldwide.
