Driverless Robotaxi Dubai Ride: Password Entry, Luxury, and Massage-Seat Feature

Driverless Robotaxi Dubai Ride

A new step in transport

Driverless Robotaxi Dubai Ride is becoming a reality. During the Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport, Baidu’s Apollo Go RT6 was tested on Jumeirah Beach Road. It gave passengers a safe and futuristic travel experience.

Unlocking the ride

The car does not open with a normal handle. Passengers enter by using a number code, likely linked to their phone number. Inside, the cabin feels modern and comfortable. Seats can be adjusted and even offer massage options with three modes – Wave, Butterfly, and Catwalk.

Mini spa

The driverless taxi gives passengers more than just transport. The built-in massage seats help reduce stress during the ride. Passengers can choose from three relaxing modes, turning the journey into a mini spa experience.

Smooth and safe drive

The driverless Robotaxi Dubai Ride handled the road with ease. The steering wheel moved on its own. It changed lanes, overtook vehicles, and stopped at zebra crossings smoothly. Sensors, cameras, and LiDAR worked together to scan the road. A safety officer was present during this pilot run, but the car showed strong reliability.

Packed with technology

The RT6 is the world’s first purpose-built Level 4 autonomous vehicle. It has AI-powered voice assistance, smart safety systems, and advanced vision sensors. Comfort features like heating and digital controls make the journey relaxing.

Future of Dubai transport

By early 2026, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to launch 1,000 autonomous vehicles, with 50 already on trial. Soon, residents and tourists will be able to book rides in these Robotaxis.

The test proved that Dubai’s self-driving taxis are safe, modern, and luxurious. The city is ready to lead in autonomous transport.
