Roblox, a leading online gaming platform, has launched Arabic language support. This update expands accessibility for millions of users worldwide. The announcement came from David Baszucki, CEO of Roblox Corporation, during the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
With this update, users can now create and experience content in Arabic. The platform will automatically translate it into other languages. As a result, seamless communication among players from diverse cultures becomes possible.
“Our vision is to connect a billion people with optimism,” Baszucki stated in an interview with Khaleej Times. “We’re excited to see how our platform inspires creativity and strengthens community engagement among Arabic-speaking users.”
Roblox remains a favorite gaming destination, attracting over 45 million daily active users. The platform offers a vast virtual universe with role-playing, game development, and social interactions.
Moreover, Baszucki emphasized the importance of safety and civility. He highlighted Roblox’s strict community guidelines. “We enforce clear rules to ensure a positive environment. As we nurture this community, we cultivate a culture of respect and creativity,” he explained.
Additionally, education remains integral to Roblox’s mission. Baszucki pointed out that the platform encourages learning through game creation. “We envision a future where millions explore design and coding. This integration makes education a seamless part of gaming,” he added.
