Dubai: In a notable act of integrity, Dubai Police honoured Swadesh Kumar, an Indian resident, for returning Dh 100,000 found in the Al Barsha area.

Brigadier Al Suwaidi applauded Kumar’s honesty, underscoring how such actions reflect personal values while aligning with the force’s vision of building trust and security in the community. He highlighted that people like Kumar contribute to Dubai’s positive global image and strengthen public cooperation with law enforcement.

At a special ceremony, Kumar received a certificate of appreciation from Brig. Al Suwaidi, acknowledging his vital role in supporting the police’s efforts.

In response, Kumar expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying that handing over the cash to the Al Barsha Police Station was his duty. “It was the right thing to do, and I’m glad to have played my part in keeping the community safe,” he added.
