Update on UAE weather forecast from May 17-21

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) has issued a weather forecast for the UAE, predicting a week of partly cloudy and dusty skies from Friday, May 17 to Tuesday, May 21.

Friday will see fair to partly cloudy and dusty conditions, with light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds blowing at 10-25 km/h, gusting up to 40 km/h.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Saturday will bring a decrease in temperatures, especially in western coastal areas, with fair to partly cloudy and dusty conditions.

Winds will be light to moderate, becoming northwesterly, and freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand. The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Sunday will see another decrease in temperatures, with fair to partly cloudy and dusty conditions. Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand.

The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Monday will be fair to partly cloudy, with light to moderate northwesterly winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust.

The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Tuesday will start humid, with a chance of mist formation in northern areas, followed by fair to partly cloudy conditions and a slight increase in temperatures.

Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times, causing blowing dust. The sea will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
