According to the NCM, today’s weather will be fair to partly cloudy across most parts of the UAE. During the afternoon, convective clouds are likely to form over eastern and southern regions. These clouds may bring isolated rainfall to a few areas. However, most cities will continue to experience hot and dry weather throughout the day.
The weather department also said that light to moderate south-easterly to north-easterly winds will blow across the country. Wind speeds are expected to range between 10km/h and 25km/h. At times, gusts may reach up to 40km/h. These stronger winds could raise blowing dust in open and desert areas, reducing visibility for motorists.
High temperatures will continue across the Emirates. Liwa is expected to record the highest temperature of around 47°C. Al Ain and Sharjah may reach 46°C, while Abu Dhabi and Dubai are forecast to see highs of about 45°C. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, and wear light clothing whenever possible.
Humidity levels will also remain high, especially during the night and early morning. Coastal areas such as Abu Musa and Greater Tunb could experience humidity levels of up to 85 percent. Inland regions are expected to stay much drier. High humidity combined with hot temperatures can make outdoor conditions feel even warmer.

Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, making conditions generally calm for marine activities.
Sunday is expected to bring similar weather. Fair to partly cloudy skies will continue across the country. Afternoon convective clouds may once again develop over eastern and southern areas. Winds will remain light to moderate and become north-westerly later in the day. Sea conditions are expected to stay slight in both surrounding waters.
Looking ahead to Monday, the NCM expects the possibility of convective cloud formation to increase again over eastern and southern regions. This could lead to isolated afternoon rainfall in some locations. South-easterly to north-easterly winds may strengthen at times, reaching up to 40km/h and causing blowing dust in exposed areas. Despite these weather changes, sea conditions are forecast to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
