Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have bought two high-end villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, located within the Red Sea International destination. The purchase reflects the strong appeal of the Kingdom’s premium tourism projects.
The villas are part of the Red Sea Residences. They sit on private islands around 26 kilometres from the mainland. Access is only by boat or seaplane. This ensures complete privacy and calm. Media reports say the couple chose the homes for comfort, nature, and exclusivity.
Nujuma offers just 19 independent villas. Each one is designed to blend with the natural surroundings. Ronaldo described the destination as “truly exceptional,” praising its beauty and peaceful environment. He said the island gives them a sense of tranquility away from busy city life.
The couple bought a three-bedroom villa for family use. They also purchased a two-bedroom villa. This makes them among the first homeowners at the resort. Owning property at Nujuma allows flexible visits with full privacy and luxury.
Cristiano Ronaldo Red Sea villas also reflect the project’s focus on sustainability. Red Sea International aims for a 30% net positive environmental impact by 2040. The destination supports coral reefs, mangroves, and marine life. All facilities run on renewable energy.
The Red Sea destination already hosts nine luxury hotels. Shura Island, the main hub, will soon open more resorts, a golf course, dining spots, and cultural spaces. Red Sea International Airport connects the area to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha, and Milan.
With luxury villas, private islands, and eco-friendly design, the Red Sea destination is quickly becoming a global hotspot for celebrities and high-end travelers.
