Cheapest UAE airport flights can help travellers save hundreds of dirhams this summer. A comparison of return airfares from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah shows that choosing a different airport can reduce travel costs on many popular routes.
The fare comparison looked at return economy tickets for one adult travelling on the same dates to 13 destinations. These included cities in India, Pakistan, Egypt, and holiday spots such as Istanbul, Baku, and Tbilisi. The prices were based on the lowest available fares listed on Booking.com during searches carried out on July 10. Since airline fares change regularly, prices may vary.
Abu Dhabi offered the lowest fares on most Indian routes. Return flights to Mumbai started from Dh1,206, while Kochi fares began at Dh1,376. Chennai, Kozhikode, Bengaluru, Cairo, and Baku were also cheaper from Abu Dhabi.
Sharjah offered the best fares for Delhi, Lahore, Istanbul, and Tbilisi. Meanwhile, Dubai had the cheapest return flights to Karachi, starting from Dh1,083, and to Jeddah, starting from Dh1,001.
For families, comparing airports can lead to bigger savings. A difference of a few hundred dirhams per ticket can significantly reduce the total travel cost. However, travellers should also consider fuel, parking, taxi fares, baggage charges, and flight timings before booking.
Cheapest UAE airport flights are not always available from the airport nearest to home. There is no single airport that is cheapest for every destination. Comparing fares from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah before booking can help travellers find better deals and save money on summer travel.
