Dubai Police Launches New Lawyers’ Digital Platform With 7 Smart Legal Services

In a major step towards digitising legal procedures in the UAE, Dubai Police has unveiled a dedicated Lawyers Platform as part of the second-generation upgrade of its official website and smart application. The new digital initiative is designed to simplify legal workflows, accelerate transactions, and improve convenience for lawyers and legal consultants across the Emirates.

Unveiled at a press conference held at the Dubai Police Officers Club in Al Jaddaf, the platform was introduced by senior police officials alongside the launch of a refreshed smart app and website. Among those present were Dr. Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Almuhairi and Major General Hareb Al Shamsi, highlighting the importance of the initiative for law enforcement and legal communities.

According to Dubai Police, the Lawyers Platform offers seven specialised digital legal services aimed at reducing the need for in-person visits and streamlining administrative processes. These services include electronically linking and signing powers of attorney, issuing good conduct certificates, lodging criminal complaints on behalf of clients, and facilitating virtual visit permits for detainees. Lawyers can also check circulars and travel bans digitally, with payment and case closure handled online.

The new platform supports Dubai’s broader zero-bureaucracy and digital transformation strategy, allowing legal professionals to complete documentation, submit requests, upload files and track case progress 24/7 using secure UAE Pass login credentials. Officials have emphasised that the system integrates advanced artificial intelligence to enhance accuracy, reliability and user experience.

In addition to speeding up routine legal work, the digital platform is expected to ease pressure on physical police stations, enabling officers to focus more on core security functions while ensuring legal partners work more efficiently. The offering also aligns with Dubai’s vision of smart government services that use technology to support innovation, public trust and community happiness.

The launch marks another milestone in the UAE’s ongoing efforts to modernise public services and strengthen cooperation between law enforcement and the legal sector.
