Writing Help Can Rephrase Your chats with little effort. WhatsApp now offers an AI tool called Writing Help. It helps you rephrase, proofread, or adjust the tone of your messages in English.
You type your message in a chat. A small pencil icon appears. Tap it. You’ll get AI suggestions in styles like professional, funny, or supportive. You can pick one. Or tweak it more. Then send it once you are happy with it.
Writing Help Can Rephrase Your message while keeping it private. It uses Meta’s Private Processing. That means WhatsApp and Meta never read your message or the suggestions. Everything stays encrypted and private.
Writing Help Can Rephrase Your drafts only if you choose to use it. It is off by default. You must enable the Private Processing feature in Settings > Chats.
At launch, Writing Help Can Rephrase Your text in English. It is available in the U.S. and a few other countries. More languages and regions will come later this year.
