Wimbledon Tennis Rising Stars: Hannah Klugman and Mika Stojsavljevic Eye Pro Careers

Wimbledon Tennis Rising Stars are ready to take the next big step. British teenagers Hannah Klugman and Mika Stojsavljevic, both 16, say their time in junior tennis is coming to an end as they prepare to move into the senior ranks.

Klugman has achieved a career-high junior ranking of number two after a brilliant year. She reached the French Open final, the semi-finals of the US Open, and the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. She believes juniors have taught her enough and now it is time to compete with senior players.

Stojsavljevic, already a junior Grand Slam champion, has also impressed at the senior level. She won an ITF $35,000 tournament in Nottingham in 2024 and came close to defeating a top-60 player in her WTA debut in Tokyo. Her strong hitting and powerful game have made her one of the brightest Wimbledon Tennis Rising Stars to watch.

Both players began their professional journeys at 14. While Klugman has trained under coach Ben Haran and fitness trainer Jez Green, Stojsavljevic works with former British star Jeremy Bates. Together, they are building the skills and mindset needed to succeed on the WTA Tour.

Although Klugman may play one last junior Slam, she says her focus is now on senior competition. Stojsavljevic feels the same, aiming to test herself against the best players in the world.

The journey will not be easy, but with their early success and determination, these Wimbledon Tennis Rising Stars are ready to climb the ladder of women’s tennis.
