The UAE President Slovakia Prime Minister meeting in Abu Dhabi focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations. UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico at Qasr Al Shati to discuss new opportunities in trade, economy, renewable energy, and innovation.
The leaders talked about expanding cooperation in technology and culture, aiming to support sustainable development and mutual prosperity. The UAE President Slovakia Prime Minister discussions also included ways to align national goals and create long-term partnerships that benefit both countries.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Fico conveyed the greetings of Slovak President Peter Pellegrini and expressed his country’s interest in deepening relations with the UAE. Both leaders praised the growing partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to enhance collaboration in strategic sectors that promote innovation and sustainability.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international matters, highlighting the importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts in resolving global issues peacefully.
During the visit, the UAE and Slovakia signed two key agreements — a cooperation deal in the economic field and a memorandum of understanding on investment. These were signed by UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Slovak State Secretary Vladimír Šimoňák.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries, emphasizing the importance of the UAE–Slovakia relationship and the shared goal of building a stronger, forward-looking partnership.
