The UAE Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee announced the revised fuel rates for February 2025 on January 31. Compared to January, the prices have increased due to fluctuations in global oil markets and distribution costs. The updated rates will apply starting February 1.

– Special 95 petrol: Dh2.63

– E-plus 91 petrol: Dh2.55

As a result of the price hike, filling up your tank in February will cost more. Depending on your vehicle type, the increase ranges between Dh6.12 and Dh9.62. Below is a detailed cost breakdown:

Compact Cars (51-litre capacity)

– Super 98 petrol: Dh139.74

The Ministry of Energy evaluates UAE fuel prices monthly based on average global oil prices. Afterward, the operating expenses of distribution companies are factored in. Consequently, drivers in the UAE should prepare for fluctuating costs at the pump.

Fuel prices in the UAE increased in February 2025 due to fluctuations in global oil markets and rising distribution costs. The global oil market often experiences price changes driven by factors such as geopolitical tensions, production cuts by major oil-producing countries, and fluctuations in demand. Additionally, increased operational and transportation expenses for distribution companies contribute to the price hike.

The UAE Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee reviews these factors monthly to set rates that reflect international trends while maintaining market transparency. As a result, consumers face higher fuel expenses, prompting drivers to plan refueling strategies more efficiently and manage transportation costs.

Staying informed about price changes can help drivers plan their refueling schedules more efficiently.
