The Al Dahiyat residential complex marks a major step forward for housing development in Kalba. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the first phase of this important project. The project is valued at AED 68 million. The focus is to build modern homes and speed up delivery to families who qualify for support.
The announcement came from Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Housing Department. He shared the update during a phone interview on the “Direct Line” programme on Sharjah Radio and Television. He said that work on the project will move quickly so families can receive their homes without delay.
The Al Dahiyat residential complex forms part of Sharjah’s long-term housing plan. It also shows the Ruler’s continued commitment to supporting communities in the Eastern Region. The project will help many families settle in safe and well-planned homes.
This decision follows other key initiatives by the Sharjah Ruler. Recent examples include new government media hubs, debt settlement decisions, environmental reserves, and new appointments across major departments. These steps strengthen Sharjah’s growth and support its social development goals.
The approval of Phase 1 in Kalba adds to a list of projects aimed at improving quality of life. It highlights Sharjah’s focus on housing, stability, and strong community support. With the Ruler’s guidance, the city continues to expand services and create better opportunities for families.
