The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 has turned Expo Centre Sharjah into a lively world of books, bringing together readers, writers, and publishers from across the globe. This year’s event, one of its biggest yet, features 2,350 publishers from 118 countries, over 1,200 activities, and more than 250 guests from 66 nations.

Held under the theme “Between You and a Book,” the fair celebrates the close bond between readers and stories. The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 offers a space where people of all ages and backgrounds connect through books that cross cultures and borders.

Authors from different countries shared their joy and pride in being part of this global event. Sudanese writer Shatha Mohammed said she was thrilled by the response to her novel The Busy Twenties. Visitors like Gisele from the Philippines expressed excitement about exploring rare collections, including anime-themed books.

The fair also highlights cultural exchange. Exhibitors such as Oman Post showcased unique collectibles like gemstone stamps, blending literature with art and history. For long-time participants like Alex Gribanov from Denmark, the fair is a yearly tradition that brings stories to life and builds friendships through books.

With thousands attending daily, the event proves the power of literature to connect people and preserve culture. The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 continues to strengthen Sharjah’s role as a global hub for reading, creativity, and knowledge sharing.
