In a significant development for sports in Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a decision forming a new Board of Directors (BOD) for Sharjah Sports Club (SSC).
According to Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2024, the SSC Board of Directors will be chaired by Khaled Issa Mohammed Abdullah Al Midfa, a prominent figure in Sharjah’s sports scene. The board will also include seven members:
- Ibrahim Mohammed Rashid Al Jarwan
- Suleiman Abdulrahman Abdullah Ahmed
- Tariq Jassim Mohammed Hamad Al Midfa
- Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Ali Burhaima
- Mohammed Obaid Mohammed Al Hasaan Al Shamsi
- Mohammed Ali Jaber Saleh Al Hammadi
- Nasser Saeed Ibrahim bin Afshan Al Mansouri
The board’s term will be four years, starting from the date of the decision, with the possibility of extension for similar periods. In its first meeting, the board will distribute administrative positions among its members.
