The Sharjah Book Authority advances efforts to strengthen ties with major Malaysian publishing and retail groups. These include Big Bad Wolf and BookXcess. The discussions focused on supply chains, procurement models, pricing structures, and book retail systems. SBA also studied how Malaysia develops libraries as cultural and tourism spaces.

The Sharjah Book Authority advances its vision by exploring modern library models. The delegation reviewed spaces like RexKL and My Town. These locations turn unused buildings into active reading and cultural centers. This approach combines books, tourism, and community engagement in one space.

SBA delegation members met with Adibah Omar, CEO of Kota Buku. She is also a PublisHer Excellence Awards winner. Both sides discussed future cooperation in publishing development. They also explored digital infrastructure, professional training, and knowledge exchange programs.
