DUBAI — Music lovers in the UAE are in for a historic night as Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his son Shazaman Ali Khan prepare to share the stage for the very first time in Dubai. Titled The Legacy of the Khans, the much-anticipated concert will be held on August 30, 2025, at the Coca-Cola Arena.
The event promises an unforgettable journey through the spiritual depths of Qawwali and Sufi music, celebrating a powerful musical heritage that bridges generations. Known for his soul-stirring performances across the globe, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will introduce audiences to his son Shazaman, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the family’s musical lineage.
Produced by Elite Esquire Entertainment, the concert is part of Dubai Summer Surprises and supported by Dubai Calendar, City1016, and Khaleej Times. Gates will open at 7 PM, with the concert beginning at 9 PM. Early bird tickets start from AED 150 and are available on Coca-Cola Arena and Platinumlist.net.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, nephew of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, is celebrated for his contributions to both Hindi and Pakistani cinema. His hit Aafreen Aafreen has surpassed 300 million YouTube views, becoming the first Pakistani song to reach that milestone. He has also been featured in five seasons of Coke Studio and contributed vocals to films such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Om Shanti Om, Ishq Khuda, and Bin Roye.
