Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships Initiative Launched for Future Leaders

Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships

The Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships initiative was launched to strengthen government talent. It will help build future-ready leaders for the UAE. The program offers specialised master’s degrees in Economic Strategies and International Policy, and in Artificial Intelligence for the Government Sector.

This initiative reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It aims to prepare Emirati professionals to lead economic growth, digital transformation, and smart policymaking.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships will work with top global universities. These include the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, the University of Oxford, MIT, New York University, and Georgetown University. Selected fellows will gain advanced expertise in economic policy and artificial intelligence for the public sector.

Al Gergawi highlighted that these fellowships are not just education programs but strategic investments in human capital. They will enable graduates to lead innovation, manage digital transformation, and create data-driven policies.

The first phase will accept nominations from government entities across the UAE. A total of 250 fellows will be selected — 100 in economic strategy and international policy, and 100 in AI for the government sector. This will strengthen the UAE’s position as a global leader in government transformation.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships underline the UAE’s commitment to lifelong learning and sustainable development. They will empower the next generation of government leaders to drive the nation forward.
