Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan prefers natural aging over cosmetic procedures. Unlike many actresses, she avoids surgical enhancements like botox.
At the launch of nutritionist Rutuja Diwekar’s book The Commonsense Diet, Kareena spoke about aging gracefully. She emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle over skin treatments.
“Age is just a number,” Kareena said. “I want to stay fit and handle whatever old age brings.”
She expressed her desire to remain active even in later years. “I want to keep working at 70 or 75,” she added.
Kareena also stressed the importance of independence. “I want to bend and pick up my grandchildren without needing support,” she said.
To achieve this, she follows a strict fitness routine. “I eat right and focus on mobility exercises,” she explained.
“For me, it’s about feeling good, not just looking good,” Kareena continued. “That’s why I choose a natural approach.”
She follows a balanced diet and regular exercise. “I eat ghee, have khichdi, lift weights, walk, and do Surya Namaskars,” she shared.
Rather than opting for skin treatments, she prioritizes overall well-being. “These habits matter more than botox or cosmetic procedures,” she added.
Kareena Fashion Journey and Continued Success
Recently, Kareena dazzled at an event celebrating 25 years of Lakme Fashion Week. She reflected on her fashion journey over the years.
“I do everything with my heart,” she said. “Confidence has always been more important than my size.”
She recalled walking the ramp at different stages of life. “From my size-zero days to pregnancy, my passion never changed,” she added.
Kareena has been a longtime face of Lakme. At the event, she walked the ramp for top designers.
She also announced her renewed partnership with the brand. “Lakme has been part of my journey, and I am thrilled to continue,” she concluded.
